According to a report, the organization is a minority organization like CMI and engages in anti-national activities under the guise of a popular front. Abdul Salam is the chairman of this PFI. The PFI had hatched a conspiracy to stage racist riots in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh police arrested PFI chairman Abdul Salam along with three other PFI youths.
