SIT team arrives at Hathras for probe, Seema Kushwaha to bring justice to 'Nirbhaya' case

The UP SIT team has reached out to the family of the Hathras victim to investigate the Hathras gangrape scandal that has rocked the entire country. The 3-member team also includes women officers of Scheduled Castes.

On the other hand, the Human Rights Commission has also issued notices to the Chief Secretary and DGP of Uttar Pradesh in this regard. The SIT has to submit its report within 7 days.

In view of the gravity of the situation, the UP government had constituted a three-member special inquiry team headed by the Home Secretary to look into the matter. The case will be taken to fast track court to ensure justice as soon as possible. An application relating to the matter is likely to be heard in the Allahabad High Court today. It is reported that the case of Hathras victim will be fought by lawyer Seema Kushwaha who will give justice to Nirbhaya.

According to sources, Seema can go to Hathras today and meet the victim's family. The convicts were convicted due to the efforts of Seema Kushwaha in the Nirbhaya Kanda of Delhi. So if they take up this case, the hope of getting justice to the Hathras victim will increase.
