PM Modi's address to IAS officers

PM Modi today addressed the officers who have recently become IAS officers and also gave some advice.

"Your role in the functioning of the country is very important. You have to focus on minimum governance and maximum governance. You have to see how to minimize your interference in the lives of citizens and empower the common man," he said. It is necessary and keep in mind that it never comes to the mind of the officer. Government policies are made for the people and it is very important for the people to be involved in these policies.

PM Modi further said that Janata Jarnadan is not only the beneficiary of the policies of the government but the real strength of the government is the Janata Jarnadan. Therefore, we need to move from government to governance. You may also have noticed that the nature of civil servant training has changed a lot in the last two to three years. The role of training is very big for change in the country, to achieve new goals as well as to adopt new roads.

PM Modi said that whatever decision you take, it should be in the interest of the people. You can be a great force to move the country forward.
