NCP leader Sanjay Shinde's car caught fire, the doors were locked and caught fire

Veteran politician Sharad Pawar's NCP leader Sanjay Shinde's car caught fire due to a short circuit and the car door was locked. Shinde got inside the burning car and got burnt.

Her car was short-circuited near Pimpalgaon Baswant Toll Plaza on the Mumbai-Agra Highway. He tried to get out of the car but the doors of the car with central locking system were locked and Shinde could not get out. Sanjay Shinde was known as an exporter of grapes.

Shinde was on his way to Pimpalgaon to buy pesticides when the incident took place. The tragedy happened on Tuesday afternoon. "We found a bottle of hand sanitizer in the car," a police official said. We suspect that this may have caused the fire to spread quickly inside the car. Hand sanitizers use alcohol which is a flammable substance.
