New delhi date. Saturday, October 17, 2020

The rules of the LPG cylinder are going to change drastically amid the Corona crisis. This time not the price of the cylinder but the rules of home delivery are changing. The company has made a big decision to prevent the theft of the cylinder and to identify the real customer. The new rule will come into effect from November 1, which will affect only domestic cylinders but the old rule will remain the same in commercial cylinders.

According to the information received, the company has decided to implement an authentication code in the home delivery of LPG cylinders. OTP will be mandatory when gas is delivered under this rule. Not only this, an app has also been developed to enforce this rule. According to the report, when a customer books his cylinder, an OTP will be sent to his register number. The customer will be able to get the gas cylinder only after giving it.

The purpose of the company is to prevent theft of the cylinder so that the gas can be booked from the authorized number and an OTP will come immediately after the booking which you have to keep safe till the delivery of the gas cylinder. The company will also get the information that made the booking and they have reached the cylinder. However, those whose mobile number has not been updated in the company may have trouble.

But the mobile app that has been provided for this whole process also has the facility to update the mobile. Delivery Boy can update your new mobile number using the app. Currently, the new rule will apply to major cities. Companies are currently going to implement this rule in 100 smart cities. But gradually the rule will be implemented across the country.
