If the madrassa is not run with government money, stop planning Kumbh Mela too: Congress leader

New delhi date. Thursday, October 15, 2020

Congress leader Udit Raje has argued that the Kumbh Mela cannot be organized if the madrassas cannot be run with government money.

Targeting the Assam government after it decided that the madrassa could not be run at government expense, Udit Raje said that the UP government should stop spending Rs 4,200 crore behind the Kumbh Mela in Allahabad as per the decision of the Assam government. Government money should not be used in the program. However, Udit Raje later deleted this post on Twitter. In a conversation with a news channel, Udit Raje clarified that the state has no religion, the state government should consider all as equal. Gave the example of getting Aquarius.

On the other hand, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said, "This is the truth of the Gandhi family. The same Congress had earlier filed an affidavit calling Lord Ram a fiction in court. Now it says that the Kumbh Mela should also be closed. That is why the world is full of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi is considered a convenient Hindu.

Meanwhile, the UP government said that the Kumbh Mela has now become a global event. Millions of people come to it. Such an event should not be commented on.
