The family also alleged that our daughter went missing with jewelery and Rs eight lakh in cash. He was seduced by the heretical youth. Supporters of BJP and Vishwa Hindu Parishad staged a protest in front of Bareilly police station over the issue.

After the hoopla, a video clip of the concerned girl was leaked in which she declared herself to be an adult and said that she had got married voluntarily. No one tricked or lured me.

The police used batons to disperse the protesting youth of Vishwa Hindu Parishad. However, it was later learned that some of the policemen who had lathicharged had been suspended. The youths of Vishwa Hindu Parishad alleged that the concerned girl was trapped. Looking at some pictures on social media, one realizes that the girl was tricked.

"Initially, we believed that the young man was a Hindu because he had a tilak on his forehead," said the girl's father. It was later learned that he was a Muslim and pretended to be a Hindu.
