They have a special protein on the outer surface that binds to the protein ACE-2 of the cells present in the human body. In this way, the corona virus enters the human cell and increases in number. Gradually, this deadly virus takes over the whole body.

Scientists have done two researches in this regard. During this period, scientists have discovered a protein called neuropilin-1 present in human cells. This protein also acts as a receptor for the corona virus in the body. Researchers at the University of Bristol in England have discovered a corona virus that enters the body from the neuropylene-1 protein.

Research has shown that traces of the neuropilin-1 protein present in the cell were present on the virus. Scientists say this is only possible when the virus has the ability to infect this protein. So, scientists in Germany and Finland have also expressed the same opinion that another way of entering the body of the virus is in the form of a protein called Neuropylene-1 protein.

The challenge in treatment increased

Experts say that the method used so far in the treatment of corona patients or the vaccine that was being developed then targeted AEC-2 receptors and spike proteins. Now scientists have to find a new treatment targeting Neuropilin-1 so that the infection does not spread to the patient.
