China prepares for World War II, deploys DF-17 missiles and S-400 air defense system on Taiwan border

The Chinese military has once again launched a major offensive against Taiwan. China has deployed DF-17 hypersonic missiles and S-400 air defense systems along the border with Taiwan. China has also rapidly increased the number of its troops in the area. Many military experts have expressed concern that China is directly threatening Taiwan by deploying its powerful weapons in the region.

China has already deployed DF-11 and DF-15 missiles in the region. It is believed that it will now deploy its own hypersonic missile DF-17 to replace the obsolete missiles. These missiles are capable of accurate targeting over long distances. In that case, if China attacks, Taiwan will have to make special arrangements for its own security.

China's DF-17 missile can penetrate its target at a hypersonic speed of 2500 km. The missile was first demonstrated last year on the 70th anniversary of China's founding. The missile weighs 15,000 kilograms and is 11 meters long, which can carry a nuclear warhead in addition to conventional explosives. Simply put, this missile is also capable of nuclear attack.

According to Andrei Chang, editor-in-chief of the Kanwa Defense Review, the satellite image shows that the Chinese Marine Corps and Rocket Force have built many new bases in Fujian and Guangdong provinces in recent years. Both states are located close to Taiwan. The size of some missile bases in the Eastern and Southern Theater Commands has doubled in recent years. There are fears that China could attack Taiwan at any moment.

China has also deployed an S-400 air defense system purchased from Russia on its border with Taiwan. Its powerful radar can detect missiles, drones and fighter jets of the Taiwanese army from a distance of 600 kilometers. The S-400's radar system is very sophisticated and is able to cover the whole of Taiwan. The missiles are capable of killing any Taiwanese fighter jet.

Not only that, China has also deployed its alleged stealth fighter J-20 in the area. Of China's 13 combat brigades formed to attack other countries, 10 are now stationed on the Taiwanese border. China has established its Marine Corps headquarters in Guangdong since 2017. This would become a strategic naval center for the Chinese navy in the event of an attack on Taiwan.
