The process of Bihar Assembly elections was starting from today. Candidate forms for a total of 71 assembly seats in 16 districts will be filed from today. In the first phase of voting, the fate of eight ministers in Nitish Kumar's government will be decided.

Subscription forms can be filled from today till October 8. Subscription forms will be verified on October 9. The last date for withdrawal of subscription forms is October 12. The first phase of Bihar Assembly elections will be held on the 28th of this month. In this phase, the fate of Nitish Kumar's eight ministers will be decided.

There is no denying the possibility of a real tussle this time around. Lalu Yadav is in jail and some Dalit leaders had split with his RJD. So Ram Vilas Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party, which has been among the constituent parties of the NDA till now, is likely to take a different turn this time. Paswan's son Chirag Paswan was constantly alleging that JD (U) 's Nitish Kumar was ignoring us. This time we will have our candidates standing in all the seats.

Thus tensions increased the likelihood of votes being split. In sum, all parties can be harmed.
