Another arrested in Nikita murder case, youth arrested for handing revolver to Toussaint

Police arrested another youth in connection with the murder of Nikita Tomar in Faridabad. A criminal named Azru, who lives in Noon district, brought a revolver to Tousif. The police took it fast.

The case was one-sided love. Tousif had been harassing Nikita for the last two to three years. He forced Nikita to convert to Islam and marry him. Nikita did not approve of the offer. He recently dropped out of college when Taisif shot him. Nikita died during treatment at the hospital. Police were also questioning the owner of the car used by Toussaint to commit the murder.

Nikita's family openly alleged that the police did not take the whole matter seriously as Tousif was the nephew of a Congress MLA.

According to police, Tousif and his accomplice Rehan may have been trying to abduct Nikita in a car they had brought. Unsuccessful, Toussaint became enraged and shot Nikita.

The incident took place outside Agarwal College in Vallabhgarh. Police arrested Toussaint and Rehan immediately. Azaru was then caught in Noon district. However, police did not receive a call from Toussaint.

He claimed before police that he had broken the phone and thrown it away after the murder. The Special Investigative Team took him to the place where he claimed to have thrown the phone. Further investigation was ongoing.
