50 crore came from Mauritius to spread violent riots in UP, Enforcement Directorate clarified

- There was a conspiracy to spread racist riots

New Delhi 7th October 2020 Wednesday

The Enforcement Directorate claimed that the gangrape in Hathras was a conspiracy to stage racist riots across Uttar Pradesh and that Rs 50 crore had come from Mauritius.

Justice for Hathras had earlier claimed that there was a conspiracy to spread violence under the pretext of seeking justice on behalf of the victim. This website was bogus and was meant to cause racist riots in the state. In fact, a fund of Rs 100 crore was to come. Fifty crore of these were received by the Popular Front of India. Earlier, police arrested four people, including PFI chairman Abdul Salam. He was stopped from going to Hathras.

The Enforcement Directorate clarified that the plan was to tarnish the image of Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi worldwide by carrying out massacres in Uttar Pradesh. Thousands of people were linked to the Justice for Hathras website by fake IDs. There were some names that didn't even exist. The website was created overnight. It was also learned that the funding was meant to use social media to pollute the environment by spreading rumors. Investigating agencies had not found the details of the website and the people who created it. A detailed investigation was ongoing.
