Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that those who had lied to the farmers were now attacking the farmers with guns. These people have deceived the farmers so far. Were still misleading farmers.

Addressing the BJP workers on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, one of the founders of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, he said that now it is the duty of your BJP workers to go among the farmers and explain the truth of the Krishi Bill in simple language. This bill will definitely benefit the farmers. The farmer will be able to sell his crop where he gets a higher price. Small farmers in particular will benefit more from the bill. Now the farmer can decide for himself where I can get a better price for my crop. He will be able to sell his crop wherever he can find it.

He said that till now the people who kept the farmers in the dark and deceived them were now carrying guns on the shoulders of the farmers. If there is a misunderstanding in the minds of farmers, it is our duty to remove it. He said the UPA government had given loans of only Rs 20 lakh crore to farmers. We have given loans of over Rs 35 lakh crore to farmers.

The Prime Minister alleged that some people kept the farmers in the loop of the law in the interest of the farmers instead of the farmers so that the farmers could not sell their produce at a good price. We raised the minimum support price. So far, more than Rs 1 lakh crore has been provided to farmers.

The Prime Minister said that like the farmers, the workers were also cheated. We want to change the situation.
