New delhi date. 06 September 2020, Sunday

Customers will receive a full refund of tickets booked for travel on the plane during lockdown due to the Corona virus infection. This information was given by the Central Government in an affidavit filed in the Supreme Court. The government's directive will apply to every airline. Refunds will be given on every ticket booked for home and abroad.

The Center told the apex court that the amount of tickets booked by passengers for domestic and international travel for air travel between March 25 and May 3, 2020, i.e. the amount of tickets purchased during the first two phases of the Corona lockdown, would be fully refunded.

Passengers will be able to use the credit shell by any route of their choice by March 31, 2021. If the passenger wants to buy a ticket for more than the credit shell, he can use the extra money.
