The Indian Army camped at Finger 4 near Pangong Lake

Ladakh, Ta. Thursday 10 September 2020

Tensions have risen after Indian and Chinese troops clashed near Pangong Lake in Ladakh. The Indian Army has encamped at Finger 4.

The Chinese Army on the other hand is not ready to move back to Finger 4 to 8 and has started construction work between Finger 5 to Finger 8.

New Chinese troops and vehicles have also been spotted. Although the actual line of control is at Finger 8, the Chinese army patrols up to Finger 5, crossing the LAC. However, this time the Indian Army is also in an aggressive mood.

Any Chinese manipulation will be met with a resounding response. China attempted to infiltrate on the night of August 29-30. The Chinese army withdrew due to the aggressive attitude of the Indian army. The Indian Army is fully alert on the LAC. The army is stationed at an elevated spot on the south shore of Pangong Lake.
