As per the workers who are registered in the Employees State Insurance Corporation and those who have lost their jobs after March 24, the Modi government will give half salary and employment benefit. .

This means that industrial workers who lose their jobs in the Corona crisis will get half the salary as unemployment allowance for three months. This benefit will be given to workers whose jobs have gone between March 24 and December 31 this year. Earlier, 25 per cent salary was provided as unemployment allowance. Which has now been increased to 50 per cent. The new provision will be applicable for one year.

To avail this facility, the worker has to apply to any branch of the Employees' State Insurance Corporation. After verification, they will be given half the salary in the bank account. For this, the help of Aadhaar number will be sought.
