The Dalai Lama will travel to Taiwan to deliver a message against China's grandfathering

Beijing, Ta. 10 September 2020, Thursday

Anger against China's growing grandeur is spreading not only in India but also in the rest of the world.

The Dalai Lama, a Taiwanese and Tibetan spiritual leader who has now sounded the horn against China, has also joined hands. India has given asylum to the Dalai Lama and other Tibetans.

The Dalai Lama announced today that he was looking forward to visiting Taiwan next year after receiving an invitation from a Taiwanese organization.

Taiwan, on the other hand, says the Dalai Lama is a world-renowned spiritual guru and has won the Nobel Peace Prize. Dalai Lama's supporters are also in Taiwan and they want the Dalai Lama to visit Taiwan to preach.

A Taiwanese government spokesman also paid tribute to a Tibetan soldier who was martyred in the conflict between India and China and expressed his condolences.

The Dalai Lama last visited Taiwan in 2009. However, this is his first visit to Taiwan since Xi Jinping took power in China.
