Former Rajasthan Congress president Sachin Pilot has written a letter to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. In the letter, Sachin Pilot reminded his own party of its election promise. In the letter, Sachin Pilot wrote that the MCB community does not get five per cent reservation in the recruitment done by the state government. At the same time, the Devnarayan Board and the development works carried out by it have also come to a standstill. Which is really painful, so action should be taken soon.
Sachin Pilot has written that people from different parts of the state have lodged this complaint with him. He also wrote that the Congress party had promised five per cent reservation to the MBC community in its manifesto for the 2018 Assembly elections. In addition, during the tenure of the last Congress government, an agreement was reached in 2011 to reserve 4% of the seats for the MBC community.
The letter said the current Congress government had decided to reserve 4 per cent in 2019 as per an agreement reached between the government and SBC representatives. However, at present, except for some recruits, no permission is given.
Not long ago, there was a political tussle between Sachin Pilot and Ashok Gehlot. Then there is the possibility of a spark between the two again.
