Reservations for 20 pairs of clone trains of railways start from today

Recently, the Railway Ministry announced the launch of 20 pairs of clone trains from September 21. Reservations for these clone trains are starting from 19th September i.e. today. This clone train will be fully reserved as well as run at a pre-determined time.

This train will be faster than the main train. At the same time this train will stop at far fewer stations than the main trains. The Ministry of Railways said that 19 pairs of clone special trains would be operated using humsafar racks.

While a pair of Lucknow-Delhi clone special train will run like Janshatabdi Express. The fare for a humsafar rack will be the same as for a humsafar train. While the fare of Janshatabdi rack will be the same as Janshatabdi Express. The ministry has clarified that the clone special train will be in addition to the special trains already running.

According to the schedule announced by the Railway Ministry, clone trains will run from five stations in Bihar. While three trains will run from Amritsar in Punjab.

Starting from PM Modi's parliamentary constituency of Varanasi, the clone train to Delhi will stop at only two stations, Lucknow and Moradabad. The clone train will run between several states including Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
