Rajnath Singh warns Shiv Sainiks over beating with former Navy officer

Mumbai, Saturday 12 September 2020

Madan Sharma, a retired officer of the Indian Navy, was allegedly beaten up by Shiv Sainiks. His only crime was that he forwarded a cartoon related to CM Uddhav Thackeray, but the Shiv Sainiks did not like it and as a result he was badly beaten. In this regard, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that this is not acceptable.

Rajnath Singh said that the attack on retired Navy officer Madan Sharma by goons in Mumbai was in no way acceptable and insulting. He spoke to Sharma and sought information about his health, adding that the Maharashtra government should take strict action in this regard. .

The daughter of 67-year-old victim Madan Sharma said that my father had been receiving phone calls since morning, asked where the message came from, he was called out of the society at 12 o'clock and then started beating him directly, then the police came to arrest my father. .

I called the MLA of my area after the arrival of the police, since the MLA has been helping me, all I want to say is that the police came to arrest him for forwarding only one forwarded message, he said that presidential rule should be imposed in Maharashtra, to the Maharashtra government. Should be fired.
