Police complaint against Twitter for making catastrophic remarks against Hindu gods and goddesses

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad has lodged a police complaint against Twitter officials in Mumbai after no action was taken against the Canadian writer of Iranian origin for making derogatory remarks against Hindu deities on Twitter.

VHP spokesperson Vinod Bansal alleged that Armin Nawabi, a Canadian writer and a native of Iran, had made a "catastrophic" remark to Hindu gods and goddesses. Police are prosecuting.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad has sent a copy of the complaint to the President and Prime Minister of Iran and Canada.
