On Chirag Paswan's letter, JDU Lalghum said, "Our alliance is with BJP, not with LJP."

Tensions are running high between the Janata Dal United (JDU) and the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections. After questioning LJP leader Chirag Paswan about CM Nitish Kumar's killing of a Dalit by writing an advertisement for giving jobs to family members, the JDU has now warned Chirag Paswan on the issue, saying, "Our alliance is with the BJP, not with the LDJP."

Asked about the letter sent by Chirag Paswan to the Nitish Kumar government, JDU national secretary Casey Tyagi said, "Chirag Paswan should refrain from making such statements." He said that if Chirag considers himself a part of the NDA, he should not make a statement against Nitish Kumar. We have an alliance with the BJP, not with the LJP. If Jatin Ram Manjhi was a part of NDA before then what is the point of Chirag now.

In a letter to the Bihar Chief Minister, Chirag Paswan on Sunday accused Nitish Kumar of not fulfilling his earlier promises to the people of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. Chirag Paswan said that the SC, ST community says that the government had not fulfilled its earlier promise to provide three demil lands. Which disappointed the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe society. Murder is a crime and the fear among the perpetrators should be of justice process so as to avoid heinous crime like murder.
