Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath shocked the BJP this morning. After abandoning the Congress and joining the BJP, Kamal Nath made a big dent in the stronghold of Jyotiraditya Scindia in Gwalior.

Satish Sikarwar, the BJP's candidate in the 2018 Assembly elections, joined the Congress this morning along with hundreds of activists. The BJP was shocked when Satish Sikarwar accepted Congress membership in Kamal Nath's presence. Especially before the Gwalior-Chambal by-election, Kamal Nath stunned the BJP with this achievement.

Satish Sikarwar is considered to be the leader of the big court in Gwalior. Jyotiraditya Scindia was always annoyed with some of his workers joining the BJP. In the last election, BJP candidate Satish Sikarwar lost to Congress candidate Munnalal Goyal. This time Munnalal Goyal is the BJP candidate for the by-election. That is why Sikarwar joined the Congress. If there is a by-election, it will be between Munnalal Yadav and Satish Sikarwar. He seemed to be ignoring himself.

The family role of Satish Sikarwar also belongs to the BJP. Her father Gajraj Singh and brother Satyapal Singh were also BJP MLAs. But Sikarwar felt that Jyotiraditya Scindia's joining the BJP with his supporters had tarnished the image of the Sikarwar group and the party's old jogis. Now the BJP leadership was trying to persuade the disgruntled leaders and workers of Gwalior-Chambal.

In the 2018 elections, Sikarwar lost to Congress' Munnalal Goyal by just 18,000 votes.
