Pakistan, the father of terrorism, was fined .5 8.5 billion by an international tribunal. Pakistan was shouting that have mercy on us, please ... if we pay such a big fine, we will have to drop the current fight against Korona.

The fine was imposed on Pakistan by an international tribunal for canceling a contract awarded to an Australian mining company. There are various mines of gold, copper and other mineral resources in the Reko Dik district of Balochistan province of Pakistan. Imran Khan's government considers these mines as its national property. The Pakistani government canceled the excavation contract awarded to an Australian company called Tethyan Copper without adequate notice or good reason. The company sued the International Tribunal and the tribunal found Pakistan responsible and fined it.

Tethyan Copper had a fifty per cent stake in Barrick Gold Corporation of Australia and Antofagasto Plcinin in Chile. Pakistan had requested the World Bank International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes to recover the fine which the tribunal was considering.

The Balochistan government had set up an independent company to mine the mine. The government was shocked to see rising commodity prices and canceled a contract awarded to an Australian company to take advantage of rising prices. Pakistan had expressed willingness to discuss the settlement with the concerned company but the company did not show interest.

Pakistan is currently surrounded on all sides. After Imran Khan became the Prime Minister, one situation after another created the impression that Pakistan was bankrupt. In this, Pakistan had unknowingly spoiled relations with friendly countries like Saudi Arabia.
