A Chinese e-commerce company was raising funds by creating a fake website in the name of the President of India. India's cyber experts disclosed this and reported the fraud to the Home Ministry. The Chinese company kept its servers in Canada so as not to prove direct involvement in the fraud.

A major scam was perpetrated by China by creating a website called Ramnath Kovind Foundation.com in the name of Indian President Ramnath Kovind. The website invited users to donate to the Corona Epidemic Relief Fund.

While raising Coro's relief funds, the website users filled out a form asking for a bank account number. Based on that, money was missing from the bank.

The website was designed in such a way that at first glance it looks like it belongs to India. Fake fraud was exposed when the country's cyber expert came across this link.

Parasar Sikandar, a cyber expert at the Cyber Peace Foundation, began the exercise by getting to the root of the website. It was revealed that the hosting provider company is Canadian and the hosting server was in Russia. The title logo of Nigeria was found in the website.

Despite all this, based on the IP address, cyber experts discovered that a Chinese e-commerce company called Gearbest was running a fake website in the name of the President of India. Experts have informed the Home Ministry about the revelation through e-mail. A case of fraud was also registered against the website in Ranchi.

Website experts have warned WhatsApp users not to open a link to a website named after the President of India Foundation. Only rely on a link from a trusted source. Experts advise to stay away from links from unknown sources even if they are well-known names.
