You call the doctors fighting against Corona a Corona Warrior, but in the meantime, if any doctor dies, why are they not ready to consider him a martyr? A sharp question was asked by the Indian Medical Association to the Central Government.

The Indian Medical Association is the largest body of doctors in the country. It has millions of doctors. The organization accused the Narendra Modi government of being a hypocrite and said that on the one hand, the government calls doctors and medical staff Corona Warriors, but the government is not prepared to call them martyrs if one of them dies in the line of duty. How does such a double standard work.

Asked in Parliament on Thursday how many doctors and medical staff, known as Corona Warriors, were killed, the government said it did not have the figures. The IMA said so far a minimum of 382 doctors have died treating coronary heart disease patients. But in Parliament, the government said it was a matter for the states. Even senior doctors were shocked by the government's response. Some senior doctors said that the answer was that we did not have the number of soldiers killed in the war.

Dr. Rajan Sharma, National President, IMA, said, "We are really saddened by the government's attitude towards the doctors, nurses and health care staff who are serving the victims day and night, regardless of the clock or the food and snacks." We are also human. The government was endangering our national unity by dividing us into states. This attitude is not acceptable.
