Former President Pranab Mukherjee died at a Delhi hospital after a long illness. Pranavada, 84, had been undergoing treatment since August 10. He had brain surgery. After that, his health continued to decline. His Corona report also came positive.

Pranab Mukherjee's son Abhijeet Mukherjee informed of Pranabda's demise. He was being treated at the Army Research and Referral Hospital in Kent, Delhi. The hospital said his lung infection had increased and that his condition was getting worse. Pranavada had been in a coma for several days. They were placed in a ventilator support.
