Deployment of 50,000 Chinese troops on the border amid tensions with India

Leh, Ta. 10 September 2020, Thursday

Tensions between India and China on the Ladakh front have reached a tipping point.

China has been humiliated since India captured key peaks near Pangong Lake. Since then, China has been increasing its troop numbers and now has a total of 50,000 Chinese troops deployed along the border, as well as weapons.

In the midst of this situation, a meeting between the Foreign Ministers of India and China is scheduled to take place in Moscow today, in which talks could be held to reduce tensions between the two countries.

However, despite China's growing deployment, the Indian military feels that even though China has deployed 50,000 troops, China's readiness does not look like a war. China has 150 fighter jets on standby in Xinjiang and Tibet, but China fought the war with such readiness. If China makes the mistake of war, it will suffer heavy losses.

The army believes that China may try to capture some other peaks but is ready for the Indian army.
