China's navy overtook the United States to become the world's largest navy

Beijing, September 3, 2020, Thursday

China is steadily increasing its military strength to increase pressure on neighboring countries, including India.

China wants to establish a unilateral regime in Asia on the maritime front and for this it has been continuously adding new ships to its navy for the last few years. As a result, China's navy has now become the largest navy in the world. China has 350 warships and submarines, while Anerika has 293 ships and submarines. Although this is a statistical comparison, the United States is far ahead in terms of strength and sophistication, as the United States has 11 aircraft carriers. About 80 to 90 fighter jets are always deployed on each of these ships, while China has only two such ships.

Compared to this, the strength of the Indian Navy is less. India currently has only one aircraft carrier. The remaining 70 different types of ships and 15 submarines and two nuclear submarines.

A Pentagon report says China is preparing to set up military bases in more than a dozen countries around India, with the aim of strengthening all three wings of its military. China is also planning to intervene in US military operations through the base.

The report also predicts that China will double the number of its nuclear weapons in the next 10 years.
