After Doklam, China doubled its border airbase

(PTI) New Delhi, Ta. Tuesday, September 22, 2020

In 2017, the Doklam dispute between India and China was settled peacefully. But since then, China has taken an aggressive stance and doubled the number of airports on the border. China is building or has built 13 new airports, according to a report by global security consultancy firm Stratfor. These bases include 3 fighter airbases, five helicopter ports and five air defense systems.

The construction of four of these heliports was started in May after the current Indo-China conflict. Based on these constructions in China, it can be estimated that it has a long-term military plan. According to the report, the arrival of Rafal has increased the strength of the Indian Air Force. Even so, China needs more aircraft to respond.

China is building in such a way that huge military rocks can be built on the border in a matter of hours if needed. In the South China Sea, too, China has taken over the sea-islands of many countries by building in a similar manner. In 2017, the two countries' armies clashed for 73 days at a place called Doklama on the Indo-Bhutan-China border, and then negotiated.

Indo-China meeting lasts 14 hours

The 6th round meeting of military commanders was held between India and China on Monday. The meeting, which started at 9.30 am at Chushul, ended at midnight after 14 hours. Until then the two countries could not come to any concrete result. India has already demanded the withdrawal of Chinese troops from areas where China has infiltrated since April. No matter how many meetings are held until China accepts the demand, the border situation will not make much difference. In addition to the military commander, foreign ministry switches were also present at the meeting. It has been agreed to hold one more meeting after this meeting. At the meeting, India made it clear that the matter could only move forward if China withdrew its troops and within the stipulated time.

Nepal stopped showing maps of India

Nepal has prepared new maps showing the 3 regions of India, Lipulekha, Kalapani and Limpiyadhura. India has already opposed this map. Meanwhile, Nepal also included these maps in the textbook. But now Nepal has stopped distributing books with these maps. Giving reasons, Nepal said the distribution has been stopped due to some errors in the map. The issue also sparked controversy between Nepal's education and land ministries. That is why these books are currently on hold.

China's attempt to employ five million Tibetans

China is now determined to bring peace to the peaceful people of Tibet. An estimated five lakh Tibetans have been picked up from farms and recruited into training centers. Here the Chinese rulers are training them to work in a factory. This training program has been started from 2016. Thousands have been trained and put to work in factories against their will. Numerous people have been employed outside Tibet and in other parts of China. China has occupied Tibet for more than half a century, but Tibet has not been fully Chineseized. That is why China has now started using other means to erase Tibetan identity and culture.

Vegetables will grow in minus 25 degrees to go

If more than 30,000 Indians are deployed at the Ladakh Line of Actual Control in winter, it will be a big challenge to provide them with food and drink. Given the current situation, soldiers will have to stay on the LAC for a long time. Temperatures in Shilaya on the Ladakh border drop to minus 20 to 30 degrees. If proper food is not available at that temperature, the soldiers will be affected not only physically but also mentally. Therefore, experiments have been started by the Defense Institute of High Altitude Research to grow vegetables in minus 25 degrees.
