China's moves have worried not only India but also Vietnam. China has deployed bombers in the South China Sea, which borders Vietnam. Concerned, Vietnam expressed its concern to India, Vietnam's ambassador to India, Fame Sun Chou, told Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Sringala during a visit.

According to media reports, Vietnam's ambassador to India briefed the Indian foreign secretary on the tensions in the South China Sea caused by China. Vietnam has also shown readiness to pursue a strong strategic partnership with India.

China has deployed H6J bombers on Woody Island, Fame Sun Chow said. Which is part of the disputed Paracel Islands occupied by China's service People's Liberation Army. China has deployed troops on the island to prevent US activity in the South China Sea.

Vietnam also asserts its right to the Paracel Islands. Vietnam told India that China had caused controversy in the region with its moves although it had stalled the peace process. Apart from this, top officials of both the countries also discussed the unrest-spreading activities being carried out by China during the meeting.

Vietnam wants to strengthen its strategic relationship with India, as well as oil and gas in the South China Sea from India so that India's intervention in the South China Sea will only aggravate China and make it very angry. Yet Vietnam wants India to come with it in its work.

Earlier, India had helped Vietnam buy petrol boats worth 100 million. These boats were purchased in Vietnam for deployment on the Line of Credits. India also pledged મદદ 500 million to help buy petrol boats for Hanoi.
