US to launch digital strike on China: US President Donald Trump

Washington Ta. Saturday 1 August 2020

There were indications on Friday evening that the US was also preparing to launch a digital strike on China after India banned a number of Chinese apps. US President Donald Trump decided to ban the Chinese app TikTalk.

Trump himself said that tick talk would be banned by an executive order in twenty-four hours. Earlier, Trump had hinted that a ban would be imposed on the Chinese app TikTalk. Our administration is working in this direction. TickTalk is being evaluated. The app was now becoming important in terms of national security and censorship. We are preparing to ban it.

"We were deciding to ban this Chinese app," Trump told reporters after noticing that Bite Dance could sell TickTalk and was currently in talks with Microsoft. We also have some other options. We are thinking about those options. The decision will be notified in due course.

According to some foreign media reports, Bite Dance will announce its separation from Tiktak in the near future. Rumors were circulating that some of America's largest tech companies were considering buying the app. The New York Times and Fox News reported on Friday, citing credible sources, that Microsoft was likely to buy TicTac.

Negotiations were ongoing with Microsoft about this. However, TicTac immediately responded that we do not want to comment on speculation and rumors. We have full confidence in the long-term success of TikTalk. In a very short time, this app became popular among the younger generation. Bite Dance launched this app in 2017.
