Two buses collided in Lucknow, killing six

Four people, including the driver of a bus, were killed when two buses collided with each other in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Two others later died during treatment.

Both buses belonged to the State Transport Corporation. The hooves of both the buses came off. A number of passengers were injured. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The accident took place within the precincts of Kakori police station. It was later learned that the drivers were in the mood to overtake Ekmak. Because of this, the collision could not be avoided. The two buses collided head-on with each other near Bajanagar turn on Hardoi Kakori Road.

Twenty-two were disembarking in a bus. All were taken to a trauma center. The condition of many of them is said to be serious. The Uttar Pradesh State Transport Corporation immediately formed an inquiry committee and dispatched it to Lucknow. The committee was urged to report within twenty-four hours.

Uttar Pradesh was going through hardships nowadays. On the one hand crime was on the rise and on the other hand accidents and heavy rains were causing devastating cries in the rivers.
