-Who will fight in BJP and Congress?

-When are the by-elections to be held?

Bhopal on 28th August 2020 Friday

A coup took place in Madhya Pradesh on March 1, just before the arrival of the corona virus. Kamal Nath's government fell. Jyotiraditya Scindia of the Raj family of Gwalior defected to Sagamat with his supporters. As a result, Kamal Nath lost the government.

As a result, not one but 27 seats in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly were vacated. No one knows when these seats will be filled or when the by-elections will take place. The Gwalior-Chambal constituency alone has 16 seats. Corona infection has also spread well in the area in the last few days. The 230-seat Madhya Pradesh Assembly currently has 203 seats. The remaining 23 seats are vacant. When Kamal Nath was in government, the Congress had a total of 114 seats which was reduced to 89. The BJP has 107 seats. The other parties have seven MLAs. A total of 25 Congress MLAs resigned and the possibility of all of them joining the BJP is not ruled out.

If by-elections are held tomorrow, the BJP will need only nine MLAs. With that comes the majority. If the Congress wants to get a majority, it will have to win at least 26 seats in the by-elections. The BJP is said to have the support of two BSP members and one SP member. It remains to be seen whether the Congress wins or the BJP flourishes.

Daz has been in the minds of the Congress since it lost power. At present there is a BJP government. If the Congress loses in the by-elections, the BJP's reputation will suffer a lot as Jyotiraditya Scindia and his supporters were swept away by the BJP.

Right now, the Congress was working hard. Kamal Nath was trying to attract BJP leaders by personally interviewing them.
