The people of China like the Narendra Modi government more, according to a Global Times survey

Relations between India and China have deteriorated since the border dispute. Bitter relations are often found in the statements of leaders. Efforts are underway to facilitate dialogue between China and India to reduce this tension. Meanwhile, a survey on Indo-China relations was conducted by the Chinese newspaper The Global Times and the China Institute of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR).

In the midst of this situation, the findings of a survey in China have once again sparked a debate. The survey involved 1,960 people. Of these, 50.7 per cent have a good image of the Narendra Modi government. According to all, 51% of Chinese people praise the Narendra Modi government. And they are also unhappy with some of their leader's policies.

According to a survey conducted by the government newspaper Global Times on India-China relations, 51% of Chinese people praise Narendra Modi's government. Whereas, 70% of Chinese people believe that anti-China ideology is more prevalent in India. As many as 30% believe that relations between the two countries will improve in the near future.

According to the report, the news showed the people of China as India, after Russia, Japan and Pakistan. However, 90% of the people agreed with the action of the anti-India army. However, 50% of Chinese believe that the Indian economy is overly dependent on China and that the current measures have hurt India. However, 57% of Chinese believe that India's military is not developed enough to compete with China's in any way.

The survey also asked questions about which neighboring nations the Chinese people love. From its findings, it has come to the surface that India is the fourth favorite neighboring state.

According to the survey, Russia is the most favored neighbor with 48.8 per cent, Pakistan with 35.1 per cent and Japan with 26.6 per cent. While 26.4 per cent people consider India as China's favorite neighbor.
