Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has raised the issue of Asha Workers going on strike.

Rahul Gandhi said that Asha workers are true health warriors but today they are forced to go on strike for their rights. The government was dumb but now it seems to be blind and deaf.

Rahul said that 6 lakh Asha workers of the country are on strike for two days. They provide health care at home. Today they have to go on strike to get their rights.

It may be mentioned that Asha workers are demanding that they be paid on time. They have also demanded additional salary so that they can continue their work even during the Corona period. Their demands are being supported by 10 central unions.
