Sushant case: Not protesting against CBI probe, but we have full faith in Mumbai police

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case is constantly getting complicated. Sushant's family and people are demanding a CBI probe. The Mumbai Police is also being questioned in this regard. The BJP is also trying to encircle the Maharashtra government amid ongoing rhetoric. In the midst of all this, now NCP leader Sharad Pawar has broken his silence on the issue. Sharad Pawar on Wednesday said in a statement on Sushant Singh's suicide that the manner in which the incident was being highlighted in the media was "surprising". We are not opposed to the CBI or anyone else investigating the incident, but we have enough faith in the Mumbai Police.

"I have known the Mumbai police for the last 50 years," he said. Whatever is happening and the discussions that are taking place are not right. It is an unfortunate incident that someone committed suicide, but no one talks about the suicide of a farmer. He also denied the demand for a CBI probe by Ajit Pawar's son Parth Pawar. Sharad Pawar said that Parth is still a child.

When Sharad Pawar was asked if there was a conspiracy to discredit the Thackeray family in this case? "We do not know the motive behind it," he said. First Sanjay Raut and now Sharad Pawar have also come to the support of the Maharashtra government and the Thackeray family.
