Russia shocked again, second Corona vaccine ready, no side effects

Moscow, Ta. Sunday 23 August 2020

Russia says it has developed a new vaccine against the corona virus. Earlier on August 11, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia had developed a successful vaccine against the corona virus. Russia became the first country to do so. Russia also allowed the use of the first corona vaccine.

Russia now claims to have developed another vaccine. According to a report, Russia says that the side effects of the first vaccine will not be the same as the new vaccine.

Russia named the first vaccine Sputnik5. The second vaccine is named EpiVacCorona. Russia developed the EpiVacCorona vaccine at the World Class Institute of Virology (Vector State Research Center of Virology and Biotechnology) in Siberia. Previously this institute was the Top Secret Biological Weapons Research Plant.

Russian scientists have claimed that the clinical trial of the EpiVacCorona vaccine will be completed in September but 57 volunteers have been vaccinated, none of them experiencing side effects. All the volunteers are healthy and feeling well.

Two doses of EpiVacCorona will also be applied. The second feeding will be given 14 to 21 days after the first feeding. Russia hopes to have the vaccine registered by October and production begins in November.

The Vector State Research Center of Virology and Biotechnology worked on 13 possible vaccines for corona virus. The vaccine was tested on animals in the lab. China, the United States and the United Kingdom are also working on a successful corona vaccine, and Phase-3 trials of some of the country's vaccines are underway.
