Make in India - Self-Reliant India

-Delhi High Court harshly criticizes central government: Center for Aviation Policy Safety

New Delhi 28th August 2020 Friday

The Delhi High Court had termed Make in India and self-reliant India as mere hypocrisy and hypocrisy. The High Court had sharply criticized the central government. The High Court said that the central government had proved hypocritical in promoting local producers and entrepreneurs.

The High Court had criticized the companies for their eligibility in tenders issued to provide ground handling services at various airports in the country.

The High Court was hearing an application filed by the Center for Aviation Policy, Safety and Research. The High Court had sent a notice to the Central Government and the Airports Authority of India seeking clarification on the issue and warned that the legality of accepting tenders would be determined on the basis of the judgment of the petition.

The High Court said that on the one hand, the government was beating the crap out of self-reliant India and Make in India and on the other hand, it was issuing tenders that prevented local small companies from participating in the field of ground handling services at airports. Justice Vipin Sanghi and Justice Rajneesh Bhatnagar questioned how such a double standard works.

The Honorable Judge said that if you want to keep small companies away, say so in clear words. In speeches you say big things but there is no harmony between your words and deeds. Say nothing and do anything.

The High Court said that even small companies need good work to survive. The impression was that you were sitting again when it came to doing what you said.
