Today, Jai Hind's slogan resounds to express patriotism but very few people know about the creator and creator of this slogan. Most people believe that this slogan was given by Subhash Chandra Bose but the slogan of Jai Hind was given by the revolutionary Chembakman Pillai of Thiruvananthapuram. Born on September 19, 191, Pillai was studying in the college while the students studying with him were chanting Jayahind's slogan to inspire them.

In 1905, Pillai went to Germany for further studies. Here he studied up to his Ph.D. and finally joined the German Navy as a junior officer to fight against the British. When he met Subhash Chandra Bose in Vienna, the capital of Austria on the 19th, he raised his hands and said Jai Hind. Bose liked the technique of presenting by speaking Jayhind so much. However, Subhash Chandra Bose's offer to join the Azad Hind Foj was dropped and Abid Hussain, a student, joined the Azad Hind Foj as a secretary.

It was Abid Hussain who suggested that Jai Hind should be taken as the proclamation of the Azad Hind Foj at a time when the proceedings regarding the formation of the Azad Hind Foj were expanding. This slogan, which became the war cry of the Azad Hind Foj on November 2, 191, was gradually adopted by the General Assembly fighting for independence in the country. Earlier, Congress was more famous as Zindabad and Vande Mataram Nara. When people chanted the slogan of Congress Zindabad in an election rally on the 19th, Jawaharlal Nehru suggested chanting Jai Hind.

Nehru concluded his first speech announcing independence on August 15 by chanting the slogan Jai Hind. Jai Hind was also written on India's first postage stamp. After independence, post offices were also instructed to affix Jayahind's coin on the ticket.
