BJP Rajya Sabha MP and former Union Minister Jyotiraditya Singhia was killed in an accident on Monday. However he was slightly injured.

It was said that the royal ride of Lord Mahakala of Ujjain was in full swing. Long after the lockdown, the royal ride of the epic was jammed with huge crowds of enthusiastic people. Coincidentally, Jyotiraditya set out on a journey to Ujjain and Indore. Scindia also participated in the royal ride. Scindia Ranaji was on her way to Ramghat from Ki Chhatri when her supporters clashed. Everyone wanted to be close to Scindia. Sheer chaos ensued. As Scindia was descending the steps, the railing on the bank broke due to the pressure of the crowd. At the time, Scindia was only a few feet away from the railing. Between Scindia and the railing were Scindia's bodyguards. Jyotiraditya paused slightly when the railing collapsed. His bodyguards stopped the railing from falling towards Scindia in time and Singhia was overwhelmed.

However Scindia remained healthy and on reaching Ramghat she also worshiped the palanquin of Lord Mahakala. The Scindia family has a long association with the temple of Lord Mahakala, so some members of the family have been participating in the royal ride of Mahakala every year.
