The JEE Main examination for engineering admissions across the country will start tomorrow from April / September 2020. Examination is being started amidst strong protests due to Corona epidemic (Kovid-19). In the changed environment, many rules related to this exam have also been changed this time. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued detailed guidelines on jeemain.nta.nic.in regarding the care that students should take during the exams.

JEE Major 2020: Keep these things in mind

You have to reach the examination center at the time of admission on your admission card. No candidate will be allowed to enter the center after the gate is closed.

The entry card contains the required instructions on a total of four pages. The first page gives the details of the candidate's examination center and self-declaration form for Covid-19. On the second page, necessary instructions for the examination are given to the candidates. The third and fourth pages provide advice about the corona virus. You have to download all four of these pages and move them to the center.

Your admit card is a provision. You will be admitted to the center only after fulfilling all the eligibility criteria given in the information bulletin.

If it is mandatory to wear a special dress according to your religion or culture, arrive at the center shortly before the time for proper investigation. No candidate will be admitted to the examination center without an admission card, valid ID proof and proper screening. This time the cause of the corona will be investigated with a metal detector machine. No one will be examined by touching the hand.

Shoes with big soles or clothes with big buttons cannot be worn. You should have the original copy of the photo ID proof issued by the government. Photocopy of any type or scanned copy will not be valid in mobile.

After the exam, place a copy of your properly filled Admit Card in the drop box in the center. Failure to do so will result in your answer book not being checked.

During the exam you will be given 5 blank papers for rough work. You have to write your name and roll number on this sheet and put it in the drop box there. Even if you fail to do so, your answer book will not be checked.

Candidates will be given three types of masks at the examination centers. You will have to remove the mask worn from home. In the center, you must keep a distance of about 6 feet from each other.
