India will get Falcon Avax from Israel, the defense ministry will soon sign an agreement

- China will keep an eye on Pakistan from the sky

New Delhi Dated 27th August 2020 Thursday

India will soon buy two Falcon Awak systems, nicknamed the Sky Eye, from Israel to keep an eye on alien neighbors like China and Pakistan. The Ministry of Defense will sign an agreement with Israel on this issue in the near future.

Under the agreement, Israel will provide India with two Falcon Airborne Warning and Control Systems (AWACS). India and Israel have already talked about this blue eye. However, the main topic of conversation was the price of AWACS. Now that the risk in the neighborhood is increasing, India is likely to rush to buy the system.

It may be recalled that Israel had earlier offered to help India in combating jihadi terrorism. The system will be fitted on Russia's Ilyuzin 76 heavyweight aircraft. A government spokesman said internal discussions by the defense ministry had ended and the proposal would now be presented to the Cabinet Committee on Security. With the green signal from the committee, the movement towards realizing the deal will begin.

This system is an airborne security system. Thus, the Indian Army already has three Falcon AWACS. These AWACS were inducted into the Indian Air Force between 2009 and 2011. The two AWACs being negotiated now will be more powerful and more efficient than the previous AWACS, a Defense Department spokesman said. These new AWACS will be able to keep an eye on flying objects from a great distance.

Even the special department of our defense department is constantly exploring something new. This department is known as the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO).
