Cincinnati, Ta. Monday, August 17, 2020

Four people were killed and 18 were injured in a series of shootings in the city tonight, police said. At 12.30pm on Sunday night, police found the body of 21-year-old Anthony Blair in Avondale. He was taken to hospital, but died there. Three other injured were also taken to Uni.Hospital, but died on the way.

There was also a shooting at 2:15 pm in Over the Rihno in which ten people were injured. One died at the scene, identified as 34-year-old Robert Rogers. Another wounded Jacqueline Grant was taken to hospital, but also died there. There was also a shooting in Walnut Hills at midnight on Saturday.

According to a news agency, all these incidents took place in 60 to 90 minutes. However the police official said that these three incidents were different, but very horrific and tragic. Police did not provide any information about the shooter. Police did not report a fourth incident, but said the incident took place in the city's West End when one person was shot.

Police said tonight was an extremely tragic and violent night for the city. But why was he killed? No one has the answer. I want to say to all the citizens of this great city that a lot has happened now. Shut it down. We should not sit idly by and say that there is nothing we can do against this gun culture.
