In India, 15.74 lakh corona patients have recovered, the health department said. The total number of cases in the country is 22.61 and the recovery rate has reached close to 70 per cent with more than 1.5 million recoveries. The death toll from 823 was 45202. 52,040 new cases were reported.

The total cases of Corona crossed 22.61 lakh. 52,040 new cases were registered. On the other hand, 48,931 patients were cured in a single day and a total of 15.74 lakh patients have been cured. Out of 22.61 lakh patients, 15.74 lakh have recovered and the recovery rate is close to 70 per cent, the health department said.

A significant 90 per cent recovery rate was reached in Delhi. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claimed in a tweet that 90 per cent of patients in Delhi have recovered and the transition is also declining significantly. According to him, only seven per cent of the cases are active at present.

The reports, citing central government sources, claimed that no definite decision has been taken to open schools and colleges at present. So far, only Chandigarh has expressed a desire to open a school-college. States other than that are still in favor of keeping schools-colleges closed. Assam DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mehto's report was positive.

The high officials he met in the last one week were quarantined. In Indore, Madhya Pradesh, 13 per cent of patients were quarantined at home and treated at home, the government said. The report of four jawans of the Gorkha Regiment of the Indian Army came positive. After the report of these personnel on duty at the Nepal border came positive, other personnel were also recommended to be quarantined.
