China is building missile bases in places including Doklam and Naku La, satellite photos reveal

New Delhi, Saturday 29 August 2020

China, on the one hand, is adamant about not retreating to the LAC in eastern Ladakh, and on the other, is building a missile base on the border with India.

The two missile bases could target disputed areas in the Doklama and Sikkim sectors, as well as the site of the clash between India and China in May.

Two such sites can be seen on a satellite image shared by an open source intelligent analyst using the name @detresfa on Twitter.

On which an air strike facility is being developed from the surface of PLA, these two places are in opposite directions from Sikkim which we know as early ambiguous warning radar sites.

The new missile base is about 50 km from Doka Lathi, near the Daklam Plateau, where in 2013 there were 73 days of tensions between India and China.

According to the graphics, the missile base, which is close to the tri-junction on the Indo-Bhutan-China border, has not received any response from any Indian official.
