The US Senate has banned the use of Tiktok on government devices. The Senate voted to ban the use of Tiktok in government devices.

The White House said in a statement that the "security situation is tense" and that "such a move is necessary." In the midst of all this, President Donald Trump has signed an executive order banning US companies from engaging in any kind of 'transaction' with the owners of the Chinese app TikTok and WeChat. There is a time limit of 45 days for this.

The U.S. president has signed an order banning Chinese apps Tiktok and WeChat within 45 days. Earlier, the Senate unanimously approved a no-use order for U.S. employees. After signing the ban order, Trump said the ban is necessary because data collection from a ticktalk such as an untrusted app is a threat to the country's national security.

Donald Trump said the data collection provides the Chinese Communist Party with information about the personal and ownership of the American people. This allows China to track the locations of US federal employees and contractors. Not only that, the Communist Party can create dossiers to blackmail personal instructions and also do corporate espionage.
