After five months, Vaishnodevi Yatra will start from today, 2000 devotees will be able to do darshan every day

The court of Mother Vaishnodevi, which was closed due to the Koro crisis, has reopened for devotees from today. Jammu and Kashmir administration has given permission to Maa Vaishnodevi Yatra to start from Sunday. The pilgrimage to Maa Vaishnodevi was stopped from March 18 after the spread of Corona virus in the country. It is now allowed to resume the journey with strict rules. At present only 2000 devotees will be able to pay obeisance to the mother every day.

The Jammu and Kashmir administration has made special rules for participating in the yatra. Devotees have to pay special attention to things like wearing masks and maintaining social distance during the journey. Thermal screening of passengers will be done at each entrance. Travelers must download the Health Bridge app to their phones. People will be allowed to travel only after online registration.

People over the age of 60, pregnant women, sick people, children under 10 are not allowed to travel. Apart from this, no more than 600 people can gather in the mother's court. The guidelines issued by the Jammu and Kashmir administration will remain in force till September 30. Apart from this, devotees will not be able to offer any kind of pana in the temple premises. Touching idols of gods and goddesses is also forbidden.

Before reaching the mother's darshan, the devotees of the group said that before entering the mother's court, they have to go through a sanitizing machine, then thermal screening is also done. Only those who have registered online will be able to cast their votes.
