New delhi date. 11 July 2020, Saturday

World Health Organization (WHO) President Tedros Adhnom has praised several countries that have had good success in curbing the corona virus. These countries include Italy, Spain and South Korea.

Apart from that, there is also the name of Dharavi, the largest slum in the world located in Mumbai. In his address, Tedros mentioned Dharavi and praised the ongoing action against Corona virus in Dharavi.

WHO President Tedros said: "The Corona virus is a case in point. These include Italy, Spain and South Korea. It also includes the densely populated Dharavi of megacity Mumbai.

Awareness campaign (community engagement) was conducted on a large scale in these places. The basics of the corona virus are involved in testing, tracing, and isolation that have received adequate attention. All sick people were treated to prevent and end coronary heart disease.

According to Tedros, the whole world must come together and take an aggressive stance to break the grip of such an epidemic. There are many examples in the world today which show that the rate of transition is fast but it can be controlled.

At the same time, he stressed that the people must unite and fight against Corona. He further said that the competent leadership of the country also plays a big role in this matter. Cases are on the rise again in many countries that have taken the transition lightly and allowed people to come and go.

It is to be mentioned that the Dharavi Koro transition in Mumbai was very much in discussion and there were many cases coming up every day. But only nine new cases have come up in Dharavi on Thursday. At the same time, the total number of corona cases in Dharavi has risen to 2,347. In India, the number of corona cases in the country is close to eight lakh and a record number of corona cases have been reported in the last 24 hours.
