After India banned 59 Chinese apps, now America is also moving in this direction. The U.S. Senate unanimously approved a bill banning the Chinese app Teak Talk.

Now U.S. government employees cannot put any video clip on social media through the Tic Tac app. A criminal case will be filed against the plaintiff.

The bill was introduced by Republican Senator Josh Howell, which was unanimously approved by the Senate on Wednesday. Earlier, a leading Democratic senator had reported that the United States and its allies had not yet taken concrete steps to counter China's spying devices and censorship rules.

The 58-page report alleges that China is slowly increasing its presence on the Internet. It is targeting all the countries of the world including America. There is an urgent need for concrete steps to stop it. The steps that America has taken so far are not enough. If such a situation continues for a long time, the future of the US cyber domain will be decided by China.

The report also mentions devices developed by China to keep a close eye on biometric and facial recognition techniques, JETA analysis, Internet censorship and digital communication.

Meanwhile, 24 Republican senators wrote a letter to President Donald Trump calling for an immediate ban on all Chinese apps, including Tic Tac Toe. The letter said India had banned 59 Chinese apps for its own safety. Now America needs to take such a step as soon as possible.
